Also Abuse

Child abuse takes many forms: physical, neglect, sexual, and emotional. While neglect often surfaces in reports, emotional abuse remains hidden in silence. In my personal story, I navigate the complex and painful path of a contentious custody battle. Faced with the manipulative tactics of my ex-spouse and her partner, who sought to break the bond between me and my children, I fought rigorously to maintain our connection.

This memoir reveals the raw and painful journey through the family court system, highlighting the deep emotional scars I have endured. It sheds light on the lengths to which my children’s mother went, and my steadfast determination to confront a legal system that often overlooks the silent suffering of emotional abuse on children.

Also Abuse is more than just my story; it is a call to raise awareness and challenge on the devastating effects of intentional emotional manipulation and psychological trauma inflicted by a parent. May my story serve as a powerful reminder that parental alienation is a thing and it’s real…it is a form of violent abuse that shatters lives.
